30 kW variable pitch wind turbines use the same variable pitch controlled technology as large megawatt wind turbines. They operate safely and output power more stably. They are mainly used for grid-connected/grid on power generation in commercial mode, and can also be used for off-grid power supply with solar power plants in some remote areas. There are two choices for the variable pitch mode of 30KW wind turbine:1 > Passive Centrifugal Pitch Way(Catch Wind Mode: Downwind Wind Direction Capture) 2 > Active electric-motor pitch (windward mode: upwind or facing the wind direction capture).
The above two control methods can be manufactured to support customization.
Performance introduction
SWT-30kw variable pitch wind turbine is the low-speed type of wind generator, which adopts wind speed sensor and wind direction sensor to realize control blade pitch distance variable at the rotor and automatic adjust itself if when it is super-wind or over-voltage. It is of high power generation efficiency, convenient of maintenance, high reliability and no need for people to operate all the time, and thus saving cost, reducing the loss and obtaining high benefit.
Structure Feature
SWT- 30KW variable pitch wind turbine set includes wind turbine, the generating part (generator, active variable pitch brake system,slip ring, direction-adjust device), tower, anemoscope, dogvane, intelligent controller etc.
For the 30kw wind turbine, the ball hub and airfoil blade with FRP in material are adopted. It is of elegant sculpt, high lift-to-drag ratio, excellent performance. The GBS intelligent hydraulic system is applied to buffer the blade inertia and the wallop to the tower. In the hydraulic slewing motor system, the hydraulic oil transfers the motility, so it is smooth startup and reliable working. In addition, various sensors can identify wind speed, rotating speed, current, temperature, vibration, twist etc. Intelligent adjustment by the control of PLC achieve the function of below, namely self –direction adjustment, self untwist, over rotating speed protection, over current protection, over wind speed protection, minus power testing.
Timely cut in or cut out, when it is overload, electricity network supply failed or the wind or failure of wind turbine itself, it will stop automatically.
Fail safe brake systems
Safety is ensured by dual fail-safe braking systems; one aerodynamic brake and one electromechanical disc brake on the main shaft. There is special brake device that is turning angle of blades to minus direction while tighten steel braking wire. Wind force to wind blades generate a counterforce so that decrease slowly spin speed of blades to regulate speed and stop rotating, it can be automatically operation, also can be operated by manual.
Remote operation
All systems are controlled by software; therefore remote control of operation and maintenance is possible ensuring high availability and few visits to the site, as well as monitoring wind utilization for optimal production.
